Parent Teacher Student Association
The John C. Dunham STEM Partnership School has a Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA). Any parent, teacher or student affiliated with the school may join for $10. A family membership is $15. Checks can be made out to the STEM PTSA and sent to school to the main office. Membership cards can be picked up at the school or sent home with the student.
The PTSA is our school’s formal connection between the school and our families. The Illinois PTA was founded on May 30, 1900. The PTA supports public schools to ensure that all children and youth have equal opportunities and access to a quality education. The Illinois PTA is a state-wide volunteer organization dedicated solely to the welfare of children and youth in the home, school, and community. The Illinois PTA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is guided by an approved set of bylaws. For more information on the Illinois PTA, check out the web site at illinoispta.org.
Membership in the PTSA also provides information about educational happenings as well as savings with business partners. For more information, check out the national PTA web site at pta.org.
The STEM School's 2015-2016 PTSA Board consists of:
President – Maria Tiongco Ramos
Vice President – Jessi Watkins
Recording Secretary – Aruna Davis
Corresponding Secretary – Ana Venegas

The PTSA will meet regularly at the STEM School. The meeting dates will be posted on the web site. All parents, teachers and students are invited to attend.
