Parent Teacher Student Association

The John C. Dunham STEM Partnership School PTSA was established in October 2014. PTSA stands for parent-student-teacher association. The purpose of the STEM School PTSA is to enhance the educational experience for students by supporting and supplementing the needs of teachers to promote academic and enrichment activities. Another purpose of the PTSA is helping foster relationships among the families of STEM School students in order to create a community.

The PTSA is part of the National PTA and Illinois PTA.

The PTSA, in partnership with the school, was named a National PTA School of Excellence for 2016-2018 and 2018-2020, which is a recognition program that supports and celebrates partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being for all students.
